There’s a reason why everyone recommends you drink your 8 glasses of water every day. It is completely essential to your overall health and the health of the largest organ you own – your skin!
The rule of thumb for how much water you should drink has been the great debate for decades now. Some experts say you should drink 8 cups of water a day, while others say that a gallon per day is more than enough. But if no two people are the same, shouldn’t there be a better way to find out how much your body actually needs? Well, we recommend that you calculate the amount of ounces you should be drinking from your weight. You can do this by multiplying your weight by 2/3. For example, if you weigh 150 pounds you should be drinking about 100 ounces of water a day. Keep in mind that your body knows best. Listen to it.
